About Turmeric
Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a rhizome crop native to the Indian subcontinent and widely cultivated across South and Southeast Asia.
Primary commercial forms are dried rhizome ("finger") and milled powder. Powder colour and curcumin content vary by cultivar and post-harvest handling — we verify each commercial batch by HPLC and supply a Certificate of Analysis with shipments to confirm curcumin, moisture and other key parameters.
Buyers should note adulteration risks in commodity markets; our quality program includes lab screening to detect common adulterants and ensure consistent lot provenance.
